Ammann

Ammann Group Holding AG is a Swiss mechanical engineering company specialised on machines for the building industry and road construction. Ammann is a world-leading supplier of mixing plants, machines and services to the construction industry with core expertise in road building and transportation infrastructure. The family-owned company has enjoyed international success since 1869.

Ammann was founded in 1869 in Eisenbahnstrasse, Switzerland by Jakob Ammann, with a motorized road roller being developed in 1911. In 1995, they purchased Rammax to add trench rollers to the product lineup. In 2005, they purchased Stavostroj (STA) of the Czech Republic to further expand the lineup.
